The TV anime "Tomb Raider King," based on the popular webtoon that originated from a web novel, will begin airing on July 8th in the late-night anime block "B8station" by Fuji TV and the Chinese video streaming service "bilibili." The second main visual featuring the main character, Ryoga Goriki, and other characters has also been released. The characters' expressions convey their determination and a sense of tension, hinting at the start of the epic battle for artifacts that is about to begin.
Additional cast members have also been announced, with Yuko Kaida being cast as Keira Clark, a U.S. Army general and the overall head of the relic-related missions. Kaida commented, "General Keira is domineering, belligerent, and ruthless; I want to play this villain in a cool way. She has a very special ability, so please look forward to it! Recording is a lot of fun, surrounded by a cast full of unique personalities."
It was also announced that the South Korean girl band "QWER" will be performing the ending theme (ED) "To Be Continued." QWER had previously been announced to be performing the opening theme "SHOW DOWN," and they commented, "We are truly grateful that we, QWER, will be greeting you with the ending theme of the anime 'Tomb Raider King,' following our performance of the opening theme. Unlike the charismatic opening song 'SHOW DOWN,' the ending song 'To Be Continued' is a refreshing song that evokes a sense of excitement and anticipation for a brighter tomorrow. Just as the title 'To Be Continued' means, we hope you will also take a lot of interest in the story of the anime 'Tomb Raider King,' which will excite viewers in every episode."
The second promotional video, featuring the ending theme "To Be Continued," has been released on YouTube. It introduces the protagonist, Ryoga Goriki, who travels back in time 15 years with his past knowledge and vows revenge, and Keira Clark, a US Army general who was known as the "War King" in the future. The video depicts a battle that takes place across the globe over an artifact with thrilling action.
"The King of Grave Robbers" is a story of dramatic reversal, set in a world where mysterious tombs appear all over the globe, and the artifacts contained within them grant supernatural abilities to their owners. The protagonist, Ryoga Goriki, is betrayed by his employer and driven to the brink of death in a tomb, but uses the power of the artifact to rise to the top of the world and become the true "King of Grave Robbers."
The anime features Yoshimasa Hosoya as the protagonist Yoshimasa Hosoya, Saori Hayami as Irene Holton, the daughter of the wealthy Holton family, and Junichi Suwabe as Yasumasa Okawara, the chairman of TKBM, one of Asia's largest corporations.
