It has been revealed that the film version of the TV anime " The Dangers in My Heart The Dangers in My Heart, " based on the popular manga by Norio Sakurai that is currently being serialized on Akita Shoten's manga site "Manga Cross," will feature the first live performance scenes of the band "Primary COLOR," of which Ichikawa Kana, the older sister of the main character Ichikawa Kyotaro and affectionately known as "Onee," is the vocalist and guitarist. Cuts have also been released showing "Onee" spending time with the band members in the dressing room at a live house and enjoying the stage.
Character visuals for the band members who will be performing with Onee in "Primary COLOR" have also been released. The members are "Momo-chan" (aka Akira Momoyama), the drummer with black twintails and a girly fashion sense, "Aoton" (guitarist and composer), who has a bob haircut and prefers casual clothing, and "Hinako" (bassist) with her trademark blonde hair. It has been announced that Momoka Terasawa will play Akira Momoyama.
Terasawa commented, "I was so happy when I heard the news that I'd been chosen to be involved in Boku Yaba! Momo-chan first appeared in the anime in the movie version, and I have the image of her as the "ultimate landmine type" girl who is a bit eccentric, but who somehow has a charm that makes her hard to hate. It was quite a first-time character, so I had a lot of fun playing it. By the way, I also sing the harmony in the song "Tsudzuku" that appears in the movie. I'm looking forward to working with you!"
The film will be made up of re-edited footage from the TV anime, as well as brand new footage of what happened after the second season and that moment between Ichikawa and Yamada. It will be released on February 13th.
"The Dangers in My Heart" began serialization in Weekly Shonen Champion (Akita Shoten) in 2018 and is currently being serialized in Champion Cross (same publisher). It is a youthful romantic comedy about Ichikawa Kyotaro, an introverted boy in the midst of his chuunibyou syndrome, and Anna Yamada, a beautiful, outgoing girl at the top of the school's social hierarchy. It has gained popularity, having been ranked in the men's section of "This Kono Manga ga Sugoi!" for two consecutive years in 2020 and 2021, and winning first place in the web manga category of the Next Manga Awards 2020 in 2020. The comic has sold over 7 million copies in total.
The first season of the TV anime aired from April to June 2023, and the second season aired from January to March 2024 on TV Asahi's late-night anime slot "NUMAnimation."
