The drama is an original story set in a fire department's communications command center, depicting the real-life daily lives of command and control officers.
Niijima receives a call requesting an ambulance saying, "Someone has been burned. On their arm. The skin has already started to blister." He finds out that the location is a ramen shop called "Hamaden," and sends an ambulance over.
Niijima asks, "How old is the burned person?" The caller becomes irritated and says, "Huh? I don't know! Just hurry up and come!" Niijima explains that he has already instructed the ambulance to go, and continues to ask, "Is the person a man or a woman?" However, the caller becomes angry.
"I just want to know if someone needs an ambulance," Niijima said calmly, and asked again, "Are you cooling the burn?" The caller then became enraged, saying, "What a bothersome woman! Send a man, a man!" The caller became enraged, saying, "I'm telling you to send a man! You can't do it, sis!", and Kaneshita ( Koji Seto) took the call in Niijima's place.
"I understand the situation. The ambulance is on the way, but first there is some first aid that needs to be done. Could you please cooperate?" Kaneshita said. The caller replied, "Okay, I understand. So, what should I do?" and obediently followed his instructions. Meanwhile, Niijima was shown holding back tears.
