The fifth episode of the NHK Taiga drama " UNBOUND (Berabou) " (General TV, Sunday 8pm and others), starring actor Ryusei Yokohama, entitled "Ivy and Karamaru: The Vines of Karma", was broadcast on February 2nd. At the end, the setting of the story suddenly shifted to "Atsuta, Owari", surprising viewers.

In the fifth episode, Tsutaju (Yokohama) is disappointed when he is not accepted into the stockbrokerage. Later, he is asked by Urokogataya ( Kataoka Ainosuke ) to become his personal inspector, but he hesitates.

Meanwhile, Tsutaju meets Suharaya (Kotaro Kotaro Satomi ) through Gennai's ( Ken Yasuda Yasuda) introduction. Meanwhile, a man with a scar (Katsuya Takagi) appears in front of Karamaru (Tosho Watanabe). The man, who knows Karamaru's past, threatens Karamaru and gradually corners him.

Eventually, the "man with the scar" is found, resembling "Dozaemon." At the same time, Karamaru disappears from Tsutae's sight. Tsutae, while trying to contain his sadness, follows Hananoi's ( Fuka Koshiba) words and lets out "fun fantasies" about Karamaru's future. He dreams that one day Karamaru will come back to him and "I'll sell him as a mysterious artist," and is offered a position as a police inspector for Urokogataya.

Narrator Ayase Haruka narrates, "Around the time when Tsutaju began to move forward again," followed by a caption reading "Atsuta, Owari," and the image of a man holding a used book in his hands.

The man's true identity is Kashiwara-ya, a bookstore owner in Osaka, played by Yasushi Kawabata, a member of Yoshimoto Shinkigeki. On social media, comments such as "Owari?", "Owari and Atsuta?!", "Suddenly Owari and Atsuta?!", "Sudden Owari?", "Speaking of Atsuta, I think of Someya Nobunaga", "The story suddenly jumped to Owari Province and then it was over" were posted, and fans also responded with "Shinkigeki?!" and "It's Kawabata-san!"

"UNBOUND (Berabou)" is the 64th taiga drama, depicting the life of Tsutaya Juzaburo(or "Tsutajyu" for short), who is said to have built the foundations of Japan's media industry and pop culture. The script was written by Yoshiko Morishita, known for "Drama 10 'Ooku'" which was broadcast on NHK two years ago and became a big hit.
