Suzu Hirose stars in the TV drama "Who saw the peacock dance in the jungle?" (TBS, Friday 10pm). The synopsis and stills from the second episode, which will air on January 31st, have been released.
Kokoro Mugi (Hirose), whose beloved father was murdered, pursues the truth behind the incident together with lawyer Matsukaze (Matsuyama Kenichi), whose name appeared in a letter left by her father. A weekly magazine reporter, Kamui (Isomura Hayato), appears before the two and makes the shocking remark, "Is Kokoro Mugi not Haruo's (Lily Franky) daughter?"
Tomoya (Ryo Narita), the suspect in the murder of Haruo, gives Matsukaze a notebook. It contains the key to the case. Tomoya, who is also the son of a death row inmate, is reminded of his brutal past...
Based on the manga of the same name by Rito Asami, this suspenseful story revolves around the love and destiny of a parent and child caught up in a false accusation.
