It was announced on January 30th that actor Nakamura Anne will appear in the drama series "Drama W Sai," starring actor Kagawa Teruyuki, which will begin airing and streaming on April 6th. This will be Nakamura's first appearance in an original drama from the same station in about eight years, since "Drama W Higashino Keigo 'Unrequited Love'" in 2017. In this production, she plays Domoto Midori, a detective in the Kanagawa Prefectural Police First Investigative Division, a workaholic who cannot help but investigate even the smallest possibilities in order to uncover the truth.
This completely original film depicts how a "man" played by Kagawa appears before six innocent characters living in modern times while harboring conflicts, and a certain "disaster" mercilessly befalls them. Who is the "man"? What is the "disaster"? When and to whom will the "disaster" befall them? The story is about the presence of the "man" bringing about unprecedented fear. The director and scriptwriter are Seki Yutaro and Hirase Kentaro of the director group "Gogatsu".
"Serial Drama W Sai" will start on April 6th. It will be broadcast and streamed on WOWOW Prime and WOWOW On Demand from 10pm on Sundays. There will be a total of 6 episodes, with the first episode being broadcast for free.

This was my first time participating in the May group. It was my first experience working with two directors, and it was a very meaningful time to be able to carefully stack up and face the work while exchanging many thoughts about the role and "disaster" through casual conversations with the two directors, who are the same age as me.
Disasters are not something that happen to other people, but can suddenly befall anyone. Whether it be disasters, human relationships, or love, we are always living side by side with various disasters. This film made me think deeply once again about how being alive is itself a miracle and a precious thing. I am also very happy to have been able to co-star with Kagawa-san again. I hope this work reaches many people.
