A new TV commercial for Mister Donut, "New and Back," starring actress Mio Imada, will be broadcast nationwide from August 6th. The commercial is for "New Home Cut," a donut commemorating the company's 55th anniversary, which will be released on the same day. Imada, the company's brand ambassador, is depicted in a refreshing summer outfit eating a "New Home Cut" donut with a happy smile on her face.
"New Home Cut" is an evolved version of the original Home Cut, with a focus on a smooth texture. Four flavors will be released: "New Home Cut Honey," "New Home Cut Butter Crunch," "New Home Cut Maple," and "New Home Cut Bean Butter."
Imada commented, "This was the first time I'd heard of the Home Cut product, and I was surprised at how the doughnut dough was not as heavy as I expected, with a nice light taste, and how rich the texture was."
When asked about her favorite product, she said, "There are two that I like. One is New Home Cut Honey. The flavor is very simple, and the sweetness of the honey and the lightness of the donut dough are a perfect match, so from the mouthfeel to the aftertaste, it was delicious and I never got tired of it. The other is New Home Cut Maple, which, like New Home Cut Honey, has a simple flavor that matches perfectly with the lightness of the dough, but in addition, it has an even more fragrant aftertaste, and the balance with the sweetness is excellent, so it has a light flavor that doesn't feel heavy and is very delicious."
