The 78th episode of the NHK Asadora drama "Omusubi " (General TV, Monday to Saturday at 8:00 AM and others), starring Kanna Hashimoto, was broadcast on January 22nd, and viewers were drawn to the words and actions of Chanmika's (Rena Matsui) boyfriend, Tar-kun (Shugo Nagashima), and his friends.
In the 78th episode, Ta-kun comes to the second-hand clothing store "Girlies" run by Chanmika and invites Ayumu (played by Riisa Naka) and Ruli (played by Miricham) to a group date. In order to cheer up Ayumu, who has been depressed since the Great East Japan Earthquake, Chanmika has asked Ta-kun to introduce her friends. Ayumu was not keen, but was persuaded by Chanmika to join the group date.
On the day of the matchmaking party, Ayumi shows up fully equipped. When she visits a restaurant with Chanmika and Ruli, she meets Mitamura (Nanase Ko), a fashion designer who was a classmate of Tar-kun at university, and Nukui (Yamaguchi Daichi), a first-class architect.
Mitamura keeps pressing Ayumu, trying to find out about his income, asking questions like, "How much do you make working as a buyer?", "When you go abroad, do you fly business class?", and "Where do you live? An apartment? Or a house?"
Feeling suspicious, Ayumu tries to find out where Mitamura works by asking, "What brand is that?" Ayumu mentions the name of the brand's president to which Mitamura replied, and asks how the president is doing these days. Mitamura seems confused and replies, "Yeah, he's still partying like crazy." Ayumu looks cold towards Mitamura's response.
On social media, people were saying things like, "It's so suspicious," "Suddenly talking about money," "It smells dodgy...," "It seems so fishy. It's not like it's part of a fraud group or anything," "Is it like Ayumu saw through the lie?" and "Is ChanMika really the kind of person who attracts bad men?"
