Kabashima Hikaru, who also made waves for her role as Aguilera (Natsuki Hana) in the special effects drama "Kamen Rider Revise" (2021-22), will be making a guest appearance in the NHK Taiga drama " UNBOUND (Berabou) " (General, Sunday 8:00 pm and others), starring actor Ryusei Yokohama . Kabashima will play Tokiwagi, a prostitute who is the model for the book that Tsutaju (Yokohama) is working on, in the third episode, "Thousands of Visitors 'One Glance'," which will air on January 19th. The visual has also been released.
" UNBOUND (Berabou)" is the 64th taiga drama, depicting the life of Tsutaya Juzaburo(or "Tsutajyu" for short), who is said to have built the foundations of Japan's media industry and pop culture. The script was written by Yoshiko Morishita, known for "Drama 10 'Ooku'" which was broadcast on NHK two years ago and became a big hit.
In the third episode, even after Tsutae has reformed Yoshiwara Sasami, he continues to raise funds from the prostitutes and rushes around to create a new book.
Surugaya (Katsumi Takahashi) cannot forgive Tsutaju for this and becomes furious, kicking him out of his house. Tsutaju, however, refuses to give up on making books and visits the artist Kitao Shigemasa (Atsushi Hashimoto). Meanwhile, in Edo Castle, Tanuma Okitsugu(Ken Watanabe) is consulting with Shogun Ieharu (Kokoro Terada) back to the Shirakawa Matsudaira family for adoption, which had once been cancelled... and so the story unfolds.
