The second episode of the TV drama "Private Banker" starring Toshiaki Karasawa (TV Asahi, Thursdays 9pm) will be broadcast on January 16th.
Anno (Karasawa) becomes the private banker of Tenmuji Takehiro (Hashizume Isao), the president of the Tenmuji Aina Group. Takehiro, who knows he doesn't have long to live, is convinced that a fight will soon break out within the family over the 700 billion yen assets. He sends Anno into the family, asking them to "protect our assets from those guys."
The eldest son of the Tenguuji family, Tsutomu (Junpei Yasui), falls down the stairs and is left unconscious. Tsutomu's driver witnesses the incident. He is said to have been pushed down by a woman-like figure. Takehiro's wife, Mikoto (Mari Natsuki), who reigns as the absolute authority in the family, asks Anno to find the culprit.
Anno, along with his assistant Mikoshiba (Uesugi Shuhei) and new assistant Kumiko (Suzuki Honami), begins to investigate Tsutomu's surroundings. They discover that Tsutomu is letting his lover and yoga instructor Sachie (Tsunematsu Yuri) live in an apartment owned by an asset management company he personally established. Could the culprit be Sachie, who has harbored murderous intent due to a love affair? However, Sachie denies the possibility, saying that Tsutomu loved her and that she was living a good life, so "there's no way I would try to kill him."
After receiving the report from Anno, Tsutomu's wife, Kasumi (MEGUMI), calls Sachie and demands that she leave the apartment, threatening her with money and making outrageous remarks. Kasumi also asks Anno to thoroughly remove Sachie from Tsutomu so that she will never again be involved with him.
Having lost everything after being fired from her yoga job, Yukie visits Tsutomu, who is sleeping in his hospital room, with a look of despair on her face. Then, Anno appears...!
