Violinist Chisako Takashima will confess on the TV Asahi program "Zawatsuku! O-Misoka," which will air on December 31st at 5:00 p.m., that she was the victim of a specialized fraud.
At the opening, Takashima revealed that she had been a victim of a specialized fraud in November, saying, "I'm not bragging, but I was a victim of a specialized fraud!" The studio was filled with shock, with everyone saying, "Chisako, you seem like the kind of person who would never be fooled!"
Takashima said, "These scams are more than clever!" He said that one day in November at around 9 am he received a call from an unknown number. Takashima, who had just returned from New York, answered the phone without thinking, and the caller introduced himself as "Ito from the Kanto Regional Telecommunications Bureau" and told him, "Your mobile phone is being used for a specialized fraud. If you do not report the crime within two hours, your current mobile phone will be cut off."
Takashima jumped to his feet, but for some reason he was then treated as a suspect and ended up being questioned over the phone by a fake detective.
Takashima was shocked by the fraud group's tactics of mentally tormenting their targets, saying, "I cried many times" and "It was really scary."
