To commemorate the August 12th release of the first volume of Genri Natsume's manga "Yokane no Kito," currently serialized in Kodansha's Weekly Shonen Magazine, a promotional video has been released on YouTube. In the video, popular voice actors Koki Uchiyama, Kaito Ishikawa, and Ayumu Murase play the strongest group of wizards. The series has also been generating buzz by releasing the first volume as a "completely redrawn version." After receiving feedback from readers that the first volume was "difficult to read," author Natsume redrawn every page. While it's common for manga published in magazines to be revised for the comics, it's extremely unusual for every page to be redrawn.
The official account for the series (@KitoNightbell) has released a countdown voice by Ishikawa, who appeared in the promotional video. To commemorate the release of the first volume, a gift campaign will be held on August 12th and 13th. Winners will be entered into a lottery to win an original QUO card and autographs by Uchiyama, Ishikawa, and Murase, along with an illustration by Natsume.
"Yogane no Kito" will begin serialization in the 23rd issue of "Weekly Shonen Magazine," released on May 20th. The story is about a group of lonely, hated wizards who have suffered discrimination and persecution over the years, who save the world. Set in a world where wizards are considered heretics and are feared more than any other, Roan, a wizard who is forced to live a life worse than slaves in a circus troupe, one day meets Kito, an eccentric elf wizard. Kito's true identity is that of a member of the notorious vigilante group, Yasho, and the world's most hated people will save the world.
