Nguyen Chi Linh (Phuong Chi), a Vietnamese woman, is the mother of 7-year-old Ichinose Shu (Tani Toshiharu), who is being protected by a child consultation center. She can only speak broken Japanese. She divorced her Japanese husband about a year ago. Since then, she has had no contact with him and child support payments have fallen behind.
Although Rin had received the notice regarding school enrollment, she was unable to understand what it said and was therefore unable to send Shuu to school. For Rin's sake, Kurata wanted to provide the appropriate support and go through the school enrollment procedures.
Kurata visited Rin with Tsubasa. He encouraged her by saying, "Let's do our best so that you can live with Shuu again," and handed Rin the necessary documents. Afterwards, Tsubasa handed Rin a printout, saying, "If there's anything you don't understand, take a look at this. It tells you what to write and what you need to know." There were handwritten notes and illustrations on it.
Kurata, noticing the illustration, asked Tsubasa, "What is this?" When Tsubasa answered, "It's a cat," Kurata retorted, "Haha. Isn't it a monster?" Tsubasa insisted, "What are you laughing at? No matter how you look at it, it's a cute cat!", but Kurata wouldn't give in, saying, "Another unique drawing."
Furthermore, Kurata pointed out Tsubasa's drawing of a cow, saying, "It's a monster!" When he said, "Don't let children see this," Tsubasa refused to give in and retorted, "No, Kurata's drawing is even worse!"
On social media, the topic became a hot topic, with comments such as "Kurata-san completely dissing the drawings lol," "I also love how he makes full use of his power to criticize Tsubasa-chan's drawings," "The drawings are so awful lol I'm at a loss for words lol," "Kurata-san mistakes Tsubasa's drawings for monsters," "It's becoming a regular thing for Kurata-san to diss Tsubasa-chan's drawings," and "I love the squabbles between these two, but they actually seem like they could make a good pair."
The drama is set in a seaside child consultation center and depicts Natsui Tsubasa as a new child welfare officer, dealing with various children and parents and growing together. This will be Fukuhara's first lead role in a " Getsuku" drama.
