It has been announced that Chiikawa , Hachiware, and Usagi, characters from Nagano's popular manga " Chiikawa ," will grace the cover of the special edition of issue 2429 of the women's magazine "anan" (Magazine House), which will be released on January 8, 2025. The last time " Chiikawa" graced the cover of the magazine was in September 2022, and it was so well-received that it sold out in bookstores. This is the second installment, and the cover will feature a photo-style illustration of Chiikawa and Chiikawa taking a selfie while eating an apple.
The issue features an 8-page feature article that explores the appeal of "Chiikawa." It introduces the characters, their unique case files, the characters' unique transformations, and the "friendship" history of the Momonga and second-hand bookstore duo. It also includes a guide to shops where you can enjoy the world of the series.
The special edition will come with a special bonus of 21 "Muchama Stickers" featuring food-related scenes and poses from Chiikawa.
