TV Tokyo's drama "Is It Curry Today Too?" starring actor Sora Tamaki and co-starring Shiori Akita will air from midnight on December 29th. This is a new teen gourmet drama produced by the same network known for "The Solitary Gourmet," in which China Kurobe (played by Tamaki), a female university student who has just moved to Tokyo, and Natsumi Endo (played by Akita), who Kodoku no Gourmet curry, try out the dishes of famous real-life restaurants.
The live-action adaptation is based on the manga of the same name, written by Fujikawa Yotsuba and illustrated by Azuma Shoko, which is currently being serialized on the comic distribution site "Takecomi!" (Takeshobo). Sayu Suzukawa , and Karuta Momo, who also attends the same university as China and Natsumi, will be played by Aki Suda , who appeared in " Cho Tokimeki Sendenbu ."
Kurobe China moves to Tokyo to attend university. When she gets lost in Tokyo for the first time, she meets Endo Natsumi by chance and gets help. By chance, China ends up eating curry with Natsumi.
China, who has never eaten curry other than that made by her mother, is overwhelmed by the atmosphere of the restaurant, but she tries Indian curry for the first time. She eats naan and two types of curry for the first time...
