The visual for the event "Ichigo Production☆Fan Appreciation Festival 2025" for the TV anime "Oshi no Ko," based on the popular manga serialized in "Weekly Young Jump" (Shueisha), has been released. The visual depicts Ruby, Aqua, and others dressed in red outfits with a "strawberry" theme.
The event will be held on February 2, 2025 at Tachikawa Stage Garden (Tachikawa, Tokyo), and will feature voice actors reading famous scenes from the second season of the TV anime, as well as a live stage performance by B-Komachi. On the day of the event, Lynn, who plays Saito Miyako, and Murata Taishi, who plays Pieyon, will also be live streaming on YouTube.
"Oshi no Ko " is a popular manga written by Aka Akasaka , who Kaguya-sama: Love Is War ", and illustrated by Mengo Yokoyari , who also wrote " Scum's Wish ". It began serialization in Weekly Young Jump in April 2020. The final episode aired in November, bringing the series to a close after about four and a half years. The story follows the life of a genius idol named Ai, who suddenly dies, and leaves behind a twin brother and sister. The younger twin, Ruby, admires her mother and enters the entertainment industry, while the older brother, Aqua, vows to take revenge on their biological father, who is believed to have accomplices in Ai's murder. The comic has sold over 20 million copies in total.
The first season of the TV anime aired from April to June 2023, and the second season from July to October this year. The production of the third season has also been announced. A live-action adaptation has also been a hot topic, with the eight-episode drama currently streaming on Prime Video. A movie was released on December 20th.
