A teaser PV for the second season of the TV anime " Dandadan ," based on the popular manga by Yukinobu Tatsu currently being serialized on Shueisha's manga app "Shonen Jump+," has been released on YouTube. The video is peppered with new scenes from the second season, including new characters Kito Naki and Jasshi, as well as a child peeking through a gap in the bars and a man in briefs who declares, "All humans will be killed." Words such as "He's coming" and "The embodiment of grudge" also appear, building anticipation for the second season.
" Dandadan" began serialization in "Shonen Jump+" in April 2021. It depicts Momo, a high school girl from a family of spiritualists, and her classmate Okarun, an occult fanatic, as they confront the mysterious happenings that appear one after another. The comics have sold over 8 million copies in total. The first season of the anime began in October on the late-night anime slot "Super Animeism TURBO" on MBS/TBS, and aired its final episode on December 19th.
The second season will be broadcast simultaneously nationwide in the same time slot starting in July 2025.
