On November 16th, they will look back on the seventh week, "Omusubi, Falling in Love" (November 11th to 15th). The NHK announcer Takase Kozo will be in charge of narration.
"Omusubi" is a "Heisei youth graffiti" in which the heroine, born in 1989, connects people's hearts and futures as a nutritionist, with a "gal spirit" that values her individuality at all times. It is an original work by screenwriter Nemoto Nonji, known for NHK's drama "Shojiki Real Estate".
The theme song is "Illumination" by "B'z". The story will be narrated by illustrator and actor Lily Franky.
In the seventh week, Yui (Hashimoto) finally makes amends with Ayumu (Naka Riisa), who has been at odds with her family since losing her best friend in the earthquake, and tries to have fun as a gal again.
Meanwhile, Yui wants to show her gratitude to Shoya (Sano Hayato), who helped her when she was feeling unwell. Shoya tells her he wants to improve his lack of stamina, so she works hard to make a lunch box for Shoya, with the help of Aiko (Asou Kumiko) and Kayo (Miyazaki Yoshiko).
However, she is met with unexpected opposition and is disheartened, but something Shoya says to her makes her heart flutter. Eventually, Yui decides that she wants to study nutrition as a career after graduating from high school...and so the story unfolds.
