Mizuki Yamashita：After graduating from Nogizaka46, she gained 3kg and lied to her friends. She made a surprise appearance at TGC with Minami Hamabe and others.

On September 7th, the main cast of the film "Six Lying College Students" (directed by Sato Yuichi, scheduled for release on November 22nd), including former member of the idol group Nogizaka46, actor and model Yamashita Mizuki, made a surprise appearance at the fashion event "39th Mynavi Tokyo Girls Collection (TGC) 2024 AUTUMN/WINTER," held at Saitama Super Arena (Chuo Ward, Saitama City).

The six who appeared were Yamashita, Hamabe Minami, Akaso Eiji, Sano Hayato, Kura Yuki, and Nishigaki Takumi. When they appeared near the audience, huge cheers erupted from the venue.

The film is billed as an "everyone's a liar mystery." When asked by the comedy duo "New York" who was the host of the show about a "lie" she recently told, Yamashita said with a shy look, "I'm not the type to lie that much, but... a friend I met recently asked me, 'Have you gained weight?' and I said, 'No, I haven't,' but I've gained 3kg since graduating from Nogizaka46 in May. I've definitely gained weight (laughs)."

Akaso introduced the movie by saying, "Each character is well-defined, and there are some very edgy lines... I think you'll want to say them after watching it." Hamabe also appealed, "There are some surprising developments, and I think you'll enjoy the suspenseful and thrilling story!"

The movie is a mystery based on the novel of the same name (Kadokawa Bunko) by Asakura Akinari, which was nominated for the 2022 Bookstore Awards and has sold over 600,000 copies. This is a "closed room suspense" story in which the "true faces" of six university students are revealed during their job hunting, and a "youth mystery" story in which each of them comes to terms with their own lives while investigating the truth behind the lies and crimes that have been uncovered.
