Anochan：Kenichi Endo's role as a sharp-tongued secretary: "I want to practice my pronunciation and tongue twisters before filming" New cast of "Minna no Ou R" announced for October

The new cast of the TV Asahi drama series "Minna no Ou R" (Tuesdays 9pm) starring actor Endo Kenichi to be broadcast in October has been announced, revealing that singer and talent Ano-san, also known as "Ano-chan", popular group Naniwa Danshi's Ohashi Kazuya, and actor Yamatoki Satoshi will appear. In the visual released when the information ban for the drama was lifted, the three were hiding their faces with "Endo-san masks".

The drama is a sequel to "Minna no Ou" which aired in July 2015. "Minna no Ou" is based on the novel of the same name by Ikeido Jun, and tells the story of Prime Minister Muto Taizan (Endo) and his foolish son (Suda Masaki) who switch minds and bodies. In this episode, Muto is once again approached by the Prime Minister, and he ends up switching bodies with someone from the nation every episode.

This will be Ano-san's first regular appearance in a TV Asahi drama, and she will play Taizan's first public secretary, Saejima Yuka. Yuka is a talented woman with a sharp tongue, originally from the Narita Educational Foundation, which provides special education to a handful of geniuses. She comes to the company on the recommendation of Kaibara Mohei (Takahashi Issei), who was previously Taizan's first public secretary, but she has her own motives for becoming his secretary.

An said, "This was the first time I met Endo Kenichi, and he is a very playful person and a lot of fun to be around. The character I'm playing, Yuka, is a smart, confident and strong-willed woman, so I'll be sure to practice my pronunciation and tongue twisters before filming!"

Ohashi will play Taizan's student, Tanakamaru Ichirota. After failing all his job hunting attempts, he became Taizan's student through his father's connections as the chairman of Taizan's support group. Ohashi said, "The staff told me that the role of Ichirota that I'm playing is just like him! It's perfect for me! (laughs)! I'm happy to have been given such a perfect role that people who I've never met before can say that, and I'd like to do even better with everyone's help."

Yamatoki will play Nekoda Mamoru, a detective in the Public Security Bureau who is a brilliant career officer in the Metropolitan Police Department but mentally weak because he's too serious. Yamatoki said, "Nekoda is an elite and smart, but mentally weak, mysterious character. I'm 19 years old now, so I'll do my best to look mature and act with confidence."

Endo, the star of the film, commented, "Idol Ohashi Kazuya, the unique character Ano-chan, and the fresh Yamatoki Satoshi-kun -- I actually worked with Yamatoki-kun two years ago, and he played the role of my son, but he's now a totally grown young man... We're all different, with our own personalities, and I'm looking forward to seeing the energy of these three characters bring a breath of fresh air to the film."
