A video has been released for the movie "Seishun Gestalt Houkai" (directed by Kujiraoka Hiroshige, to be released on June 13th), co-starring Arata Sato of the seven-member group "IMP." and former "Hinatazaka46" member Miho Watanabe. It is a character preview video for Mamiya Asaha, played by Watanabe.
This live-action film is based on the novel "Youth Gestalt Collapse" by Tomato Marui, the winner of the 5th Grand Prize in the novel contest "Noichigo Grand Prize" held on the novel website "Noichigo". Sato plays Asahina Hijiri, a second-year high school student who is watched by teachers for his flashy looks and violent attitude, but is more empathetic to "pain" than anyone else, while Watanabe plays Mamiya Asaha, who suffers from adolescent prosopagnosia, a condition in which she cannot recognize her own face. This is Sato's first leading role in a film.
In the newly released character trailer for "Asaha," we see Asaha, who was always wary of her classmates' reactions and lacked confidence in herself, begin to look forward and face herself after hearing a single word from Sei, played by Sato, asking, "Is it okay to not change from how you were before?"
