The 11th episode (170th episode overall) of the final chapter of the TV anime series " My Hero Academia, " based on the manga by Kohei Horikoshi that was serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (Shueisha), " My Hero Academia," will be broadcast on Yomiuri TV and Nippon TV from 5:30 PM on December 13th. The TV anime series, which has run for a total of eight seasons and has been running for about nine years and eight months since the first season premiered in April 2016, will come to an end.

"My Hero Academia" was serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" from July 2014 to August 2024. Set in a world where approximately 80% of the population possesses supernatural powers and quirks, the series follows Izuku Midoriya, also known as Deku, as he strives to become the greatest hero. The comics have sold over 100 million copies worldwide.
