A launch event for actress Aya Ueto's first photo book in 15 years, "Midday Reverie" (Takarajimasha), was held in Tokyo on July 13th.
The location for the photobook was Taiwan. The shoot was done while feeling like she was traveling alone and taking in the scenery and atmosphere of a foreign country. The photographer was Kawashima Kotori, whose work Ueto herself said she had always loved. The photos include her enjoying the magical night market in Taiwan, her innocent and pure expression on the beach, beautiful shots of her standing in nature, and her clear, fresh look after waking up.
It also includes a long interview looking back on their activities so far. The price is 3,850 yen.
