Drama "Shiawase na Kekkon" final episode spoilers

The final episode of the drama series " Shiawase na Kekkon " (Thursdays at 9 p.m.), starring actor Sadao Abe , aired on September 11th, and the unexpected "killer words" and ending became a hot topic.

An original work by screenwriter Shizuka Oishi. Popular bachelor lawyer Harada Kotaro (Abe) is attracted to the mysterious high school art teacher Suzuki Nerula (Matsu) and marries her in a surprise marriage. However, Nerula turns out to be a suspect in the death of ex-fiancé Nuse Yuto (Reo Tamaoki) from a fall. Although it is a family drama, it is billed as a "marriage suspense" that questions the love between husband and wife.

For Nerula's sake, Kotaro uncovers the truth behind Nuse's death from a fall. However, in the process, the Suzuki family falls apart. Nerula blames Kotaro, saying, "Everything fell apart when I met you. We should never have met." She proposes divorce.

Despite Kotaro's resistance, the two divorce. Nella begins working on restoring art museums. Meanwhile, Kotaro is unable to let go of his feelings for Nella. One day, he receives a phone call from Nella's distraught father, Hiroshi (Danda Yasunori), who tells him that Nella has disappeared.

With the help of detective Kurokawa (Yosuke Sugino), Kotaro tracks down Nerla's whereabouts. Nerla confesses that she was once Nuse's "ghost painter." She also confesses that she is responsible for Nuse's breakdown and the misfortune that led to it for her family.

Kotaro persuades Nella, saying, "A weak Nella is not Nella!" and "What's past is past. Cherish the present and live strong! You're a 'hip woman'!" He then tells her that he will share her pain and proposes, saying, "Let's get married again, and if you ever want to get divorced, you can get divorced again. I'll chase after you again and say, 'Let's get married!'" Nella responds, "I'm glad Kotaro was persistent," and the two embrace each other warmly.

Kotaro and Nella have remarried. The Suzuki household dinners have resumed, but Kotaro seems unaccustomed to family gatherings, saying to himself, "This house is tiring, I don't like family." The film ends with a scene of the two sleeping in bed, with Nella's slumbering posture, and the title sequence for "Shiawase na Kekkon" is displayed on screen.
