The final episode of the drama series " Shiawase na Kekkon " (Thursdays at 9 p.m.), starring actor Sadao Abe , aired on September 11th, and the "change of heart" of Producer Kurazawa, played by Keiko Horiuchi, caused a stir.
◇The following contains spoilers.
An original work by screenwriter Shizuka Oishi. Popular bachelor lawyer Harada Kotaro (Abe) is attracted to the mysterious high school art teacher Suzuki Nerula (Matsu) and marries her in a surprise marriage. However, Nerula turns out to be a suspect in the death of ex-fiancé Nuse Yuto (Reo Tamaoki) from a fall. Although it is a family drama, it is billed as a "marriage suspense" that questions the love between husband and wife.
In the aftermath of the incident involving Nerla's family, Kotaro is forced to step down from his regular appearance on the variety show "News Hope." After divorcing Nerla, Kotaro continues to work at his own law firm, where he is visited by Kurazawa, the producer of "News Hope."
When his colleague Usui (Komatsu Kazushige) asks him, "Are you finally making a comeback?" Kotaro doesn't seem opposed, but Kurazawa's goal is not to scout Kotaro, but to scout Imaizumi (Satoshi Kanada) from the same agency. Kurazawa praises Imaizumi's handsome looks and the fact that he is a member of a "gorgeous family," and enthusiastically invites him, saying, "Could you please give us permission to appear on the show?"
When Kotaro was forced to leave the show due to station policy, Kurazawa desperately pleaded with the higher-ups to have his decision retracted. On social media, people were saying things like, "Producer lol," "Quick change of heart," "Quick switch of heart (lol)," "Kurazawa-san is a refreshingly good producer," and "Kurazawa-san's down-to-earth nature and ability to get the job done is the best."
