The premiere press conference for "Ultraman Omega," the newest addition to the special effects drama series "Ultraman," was held in Tokyo on June 12th, with appearances by Shori Kondo, who plays the main character Okida Sorato, Yoshida Haruto, who plays Hoshimi Kousei, Kudo Ayano, who plays Ichido Ayumu, and Ayano Kudo Masayoshi, the main director.
The story revolves around Okida Sorato, an alien (Ultraman) who suddenly falls from the sky onto an Earth where there are no heroes or monsters. The show is an ambitious attempt to answer the question, "Why does Ultraman protect the Earth?" It will air on TV Tokyo every Saturday at 9am from July 5th.
