As was the case with the first season, the animation staff are very good at summarizing the story briefly and showing the important parts, so I asked them to make the second season in a way that they would find interesting within the overall story. I also enjoyed the voice actors' ad-libs, so I asked them to do that as well. I am very excited to see what parts will make it into the anime and how it will turn out! "A Star Brighter Than the Sun" is a manga that has been serialized in Bessatsu Margaret (Shueisha) since June 2021, depicting the first love of Iwata Sakuei, a girl with stronger-than-average physique. When Sakuei was in elementary school, she fell in love at first sight with Kamishiro Mitsuteru. Kamishiro was small and slender, but by the time he reached middle school, he had grown into a refreshingly handsome man, and they had become distant figures, but the first love that she had kept hidden deep in her heart is set in motion. The comic has sold a total of over 3.2 million copies.
The first season of the TV anime began airing on TBS in October, with the final episode airing on December 18th. The anime stars Fujidera Yoshinori as Minori Fujidera Iwata and Yuki Ono Kamishiro. It was directed by Kobayashi Aya and produced by Studio KAI.
