On August 16th, talent Agnes Chan attended the launch of her new book "Why Don't Poppies Wither?" (Wani Books) in Tokyo. On this day, to commemorate the book's release on August 20th, Agnes' birthday, she held both the launch event and a birthday live concert. When asked how she felt about turning 70, Agnes said with a smile, "I came to Japan at the age of 17, made my debut, and now I'm 70. I'm overwhelmed with emotion."

At the beginning of the event, when a birthday cake was brought out, Agnes smiled and said, "I'm so happy. I'm really turning 70!"
