The figure, "GUNDAM FIX FIGURATION METAL COMPOSITE Wing Gundam Zero Cloaked Custom" (Bandai Spirits), is of the Mobile Suit Gundam Wing Wing Gundam Zero Cloaked Custom, which appears in the 30th anniversary video for the anime " Mobile Suit Gundam Wing Gundam Wing," "Mobile Suit Gundam Wing -Operation 30th-." The first round of pre-orders began on November 14th on Bandai Namco Group's shopping site, Premium Bandai, and it has become a hot topic as it "sold out immediately."
◇What's under the cloak is revealed
The 30th anniversary video was unveiled at the San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) event held in San Diego, USA in July. Wing Gundam Zero Cloaked Custom is a new mobile suit wearing a hooded cloak, and in the video the cloak covered most of its body except for its face, but the announcement of the figure finally revealed its entire form. Its noble white base, accented with chic gold accents, gives it a godlike appearance.
The "instantly sold out" figure is a new product in the "GUNDAM FIX FIGURATION METAL COMPOSITE (GFFMC)" series supervised by Hajime Katoki, and was made into a three-dimensional figure based on Katoki's product development drawings. The development drawings also included a drawing of what's underneath the cloak, and the cloak was adapted for the product.
The cape is not one continuous piece, but is made up of five parts. It covers the main body, and the wing binders can be stored inside the cape, or just the arms and weapons can be exposed. It is made of cloth, and wires are built into each part, allowing it to change shape to suit the pose, and wrinkles can be added to create a swaying effect. The cape is detachable.
◇ Original weapons too
It includes the Twin Buster Rifle, which was also equipped in the anime's concept art, and the beam saber that was held in the 30th anniversary video. The Twin Buster Rifle is the main weapon of Wing Gundam Zero, consisting of two Buster Rifles connected in parallel, and can be separated and held in both hands, allowing you to recreate the shooting pose when connected in parallel. The handle of the beam saber can be stored at the base of the wink binter (secondary wing).
The figure comes with six Neuetzbergs and a Seraphim unit as original equipment. The Neuetzbergs can be attached to the Twin Buster Rifle, Seraphim unit, and shield. The Seraphim unit is made up of a pair of wing-like parts and a jointed arm, and is attached to the waist for flexible movement.
The first batch of pre-orders sold out immediately, but Premium Bandai is now accepting second-round pre-orders. The second batch will be sold by lottery, and entries will be accepted until 11:00 PM on November 23rd. The winners will be announced in late November, and the product is scheduled to be shipped in June 2026. The price is 38,500 yen.
◇ 5 new aircraft
The figure is on display at the "TAMASHII NATION 2025" event, which runs until November 16th in Akihabara, Tokyo.
The Wing Gundam Zero Cloaked Custom is not the only one to appear in the 30th anniversary video. In addition to the Wing Gundam Zero Cloaked Custom, the event will also feature figures of five other units: the Gundam Deathscythe Hell Cloaked Custom, the Gundam Heavyarms Custom Cloaked Custom, the Gundam Sandrock Custom Cloaked Custom, and the Altron Gundam Cloaked Custom.
