It has been announced that the fourth season of the TV anime "Classroom of the Elite," based on the light novel from MF Bunko J (KADOKAWA), titled "4th Season: 2nd Year Edition, 1st Semester," will begin airing in April 2026. The voice actors for the six new "first-year students" who will appear in the fourth season have also been announced, with Sato Minako playing Nanase Tsubasa, Egashira Hiroya playing Houzen Kazuomi, Seto Momoko playing Amasawa Ichika, Tokudome Shinosuke playing Yagami Takuya, Saeki Iori playing Tsubaki Sakurako, and Sakata Shogo playing Utsunomiya Riku. The key visual and the first promotional video featuring the new first-year students have also been released.
"Classroom of the Elite" is based on a light novel written by Kinugasa Shougo and illustrated by Tomose Shunsaku. Set at Advanced Nurturing High School, one of the most prestigious schools in the country where meritocracy is the highest priority, the series follows the school life of protagonist Ayanokoji Kiyotaka, who is assigned to the lowest class, and his classmate Horikita Suzune, a beautiful girl with excellent grades but a very difficult personality. The series has sold over 10.8 million copies.
The first season of the TV anime aired from July to September 2017, the second season from July to September 2022, and the third season from January to March 2024.
