On June 26th, Friday Road Show (Nippon Television Network, Fridays at 9 PM) will broadcast "Toy Story 3" (2010, USA), the biggest hit in the series and winner of the 83rd Academy Awards (2011) for Best Animated Feature Film and Best Original Song, in its entirety, with a 5-minute extension, to commemorate the release of the latest installment in the popular animated series, "Toy Story 5".
The day is approaching for Andy (Kensho Ono) to leave home to go to college. His toy friends, including Woody (Toshiaki Karasawa) and Buzz (George Tokoro), are confused. Andy decides to take only Woody with him and put Buzz and the other toys away in the attic. However, due to a misunderstanding by his mother, Buzz and the others end up being thrown out with the trash.
Desperate to escape from the trash bags, Buzz and his friends sneak into a cardboard box of toys destined for a daycare center. Woody, who has also jumped out of a cardboard box destined for college to rescue his friends, joins them at the daycare center. Woody insists that they should trust Andy, but after being welcomed by Lotso (voiced by Katsube Enji) the teddy bear at the daycare center, Buzz and his friends choose to start a new life with the children. Woody decides to sneak out of the daycare center on his own...
Next week, on Friday, July 3rd, Friday Road Show will broadcast the fourth film in the series, "Toy Story 4" (2019, USA), with a 5-minute extension and uncut.
