Actress Satomi Ishihara attended Kao's "Fabric Care New Product Launch" held in Tokyo on October 16th. At her first public appearance since giving birth to her second child, Ishihara revealed that she "sometimes does laundry twice a day."
When asked about her preferences when choosing detergent, Ishihara said, "I have children, so I'm quite concerned about deodorizing and antibacterial properties." She added, "It's not just once a day. Sometimes I use it twice. It depends on how positive I can be at that time, and whether I can make my mood and my family's mood positive. I think the scent helps."
She continued with a smile, "Every time I do laundry, it smells nice, and it's up to me to decide whether the time I spend folding laundry with my children is tiring or a happy time working together, so the scent is a big help."
On November 1st, Kao will release "Humming Flare Aroma Beads," a new bead-shaped laundry fragrance from its fabric softener brand "Humming Flare," aimed at people who want to enjoy the scent of their clothes. New commercials featuring image character Ishihara, "The Birth of Aroma Beads (Coming Soon)" and "The Ultimate Fragrance Experience (Coming Soon)," will be broadcast nationwide from October 16th.
