The New Year visuals for the TV anime "Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian," based on the light novel by Kadokawa Sneaker Bunko (KADOKAWA), have been released. The visuals are based on the Chinese zodiac and feature Masachika, Arya, and Yuki dressed as horses. The official X website for the series is running a giveaway campaign for original New Year's cards.
"Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian" depicts the love story between Arisa Mikhailovna Kujo (Arya), a beautiful silver-haired girl who sometimes speaks Russian, and Kuze Masachika, whose Russian listening comprehension is at a native level. The total number of copies of the original series has exceeded 5.5 million.
The first season of the TV anime aired from July to September 2024. The second season will air in 2026.
