It has been revealed that singer Ado will be performing the theme song, "Monstro," for the live-action film "Blue Lock" (directed by Yusuke Taki, opening August 7th), based on the popular soccer manga currently serialized in "Weekly Shonen Magazine" (Kodansha). The song was composed and arranged by "Giga & TeddyLoid," the duo of TeddyLoid and Giga who worked on Ado's hit songs "Odori" and "Uta," and features lyrics by ryo of the creative group "supercell," resulting in a fast-paced track. The official trailer has been released on YouTube, and the song has now been unveiled.
Ado commented, "My new song 'Monstruo' has been chosen as the theme song for the movie ' Blue Lock'! Following 'Odoru' and 'Sho,' 'Monstruo' is once again a song created by the powerful duo of Giga & TeddyLoid, with a Latin rhythm that is filled with passionate feelings that will make you burn! Producer Shinzo Matsuhashi explained the reason for choosing Ado, saying, "With a strong desire to create an entertainment film that will be accepted worldwide for this new generation, I told her that I really wanted to ask her to do the theme song.
