The synopsis and still images for episode 8 of the TV Asahi drama series "Reborn ~The Last Hero~" (Tuesdays at 9 PM), starring actor Issei Takahashi, have been released. Episode 8 will air on June 2nd.
Kosei Neo (played by Takahashi in a dual role), who has been reincarnated as Hideto Nomoto (played by Takahashi), asks Sarasa (played by Nakamura Anne) to persuade Neo in order to protect Akari Shopping Street, but NEOXIS decides to acquire Akari Shopping Street. When Tomono (played by Ouji Suzuka) tells him this fact, he is furious, which makes Hideto suspect that Tomono might be the one who killed Kosei in his previous life.
Appointed as the negotiator for Akari Shopping Street, Tomono tries to negotiate while being supportive of the shopkeepers, but due to resistance from Eiji (Fumiyo Kohinata) and others, the negotiations do not progress and he is removed from his position. Afterwards, Akari Shopping Street's businesses are put to the ground by interference from NEOXIS, now led by Kosei. When Hideto sees Sarasa's father, Kinpei (Shingo Yanagisawa), drunk and acting recklessly, a "memory of the future" flashes through his mind.
If things continue like this, Kinpei will be headed down a tragic path... To prevent this, Hideto entrusts Sarasa with keeping a close eye on Kinpei, and, clinging to a glimmer of hope, asks for the cooperation of Togo (Masachika Ichimura) and the president of Soman, Ichimanda (Yoshiyuki Tsubokura). However, Hideto collapses again, suffering from a headache and dizziness.
The drama tells the story of a man who is reborn as a different person and given a second chance at life. The script is written by Hiroshi Hashimoto, who has also written dramas such as "The Grand Family" (TBS), "Job Hunting Family: It'll Surely Work Out," "Adult High School," and "Sky Castle" (all on TV Asahi).
