The fourth episode of the drama series "Reborn ~The Last Hero~" (TV Asahi, Tuesdays at 9 PM), starring actor Issei Takahashi, aired on May 5th, and it has been revealed that the average viewership rating (according to Video Research, Kanto region) was 5.3% for households and 3.0% for individuals. This was slightly higher than the previous week's third episode, which had a household rating of 5.1% and an individual rating of 2.7%.
The drama tells the story of a man who is reborn as a different person and given a second chance at life. Takahashi plays two roles: Mitsunori Neo, an IT company president who has achieved great wealth and fame and is called a "charisma of the times," and Hideto Nomoto, the heir to a dry cleaning business. Other cast members in the drama include Anne Nakamura, Ouji Suzuka, Mayu Yokota, Fumiyo Kohinata, and Masachika Ichimura.
The possibility arises that Mitsumasa Neo, who has been reincarnated as Hideto Nomoto, may have altered history. Mitsumasa is scheduled to go on a business trip to Paris, a trip he never took before, and it happens to be the very day of the simultaneous terrorist attacks. In order to save Mitsumasa and the others from danger, Hideto enlists the help of Yoshitaka Togo (played by Ichimura) to try and stop the trip.
Then, the story unfolds with the two versions of Mitsumasa Neo—Mitsumasa living as an Englishman and Mitsumasa living in the Heisei era—getting closer...
