The fourth episode of the TBS Sunday drama "GIFT," starring actor Shinichi Tsutsumi, aired on May 3rd. The episode revealed the connection between magazine journalist Hitoka Kiriyama (Kasumi Arimura) and Keijiro Asatani (Kyohei Honda), who has joined the "Blaze Bulls," leaving a strong impression on viewers.

Hitoka's father, Hideo (played by So Yamanaka), was involved in a traffic accident some time ago. As a result of the accident, the transportation company he ran went bankrupt. He blames himself for taking away the victim's future and is withdrawn from society.
One day, Hitoka was confronted with the fact that Keijiro had been paralyzed from the waist down in a motorcycle accident when he was 17 years old. Having heard from Keijiro's mother that the accident happened on a day of heavy rain, Hitoka remembered that Hideo's accident also happened on a day of heavy rain. As she investigated Hideo's accident, she discovered that the victim was Keijiro. Hitoka was speechless, only managing to say, "No way..."
The preview for episode 5 shows Hitoka saying, "It was my father who caused Keijiro's injury," and also shows Hitoka bowing her head. Social media was abuzz with comments such as, "What a shocking revelation," and "I never imagined that Hitoka's father and Keijiro's accidents would coincide."
The drama follows Wu Tetsuya, a genius astrophysicist played by Tsutsumi, as he solves difficult problems facing the underdog team "Blaze Bulls" from his unique perspective. It's a story of redemption where the team, friends, and family reconnect.
