Character visuals have been released for "Made in Abyss: Awakening Mystery," the first film in the theatrical series of the anime "Made in Abyss," which is based on the manga by Akihito Tsukushi. In addition to Riko, Reg, Nanachi, and Faputa, Tepaste is also depicted. Tepaste was traveling with the senior explorer Clavari, but got separated from them and later encountered the Cursed Fleet. The voice actor is listed as "???".
It was also announced that the second series of movie ticket cards for the film will be released on May 22nd. The movie ticket cards will be sold randomly and will feature designs of Riko, Reg, Nanachi, Faputa, and Tepaste, with one special sticker included as a bonus.
"Made in Abyss" depicts the adventures of a young girl, Riko, and a young robot boy, Reg, in the Abyss, a mysterious chasm where precious relics lie dormant. The first season of the TV anime aired from July to September 2017, the second season, "The Golden Land of the Blazing Sun," aired from July to September 2022, and the theatrical film "Dawn of the Deep Soul" was released in January 2020. The original manga series has sold over 22 million copies. The first film in the theatrical film series, "Made in Abyss: Awakening of the Mystery," will be released on October 23rd.
