A new installment of NHK's popular drama series "Thus Spoke Rohan Kishibe," titled "Kyoka Izumi Doesn't Stay Silent," will air on NHK General on May 4th at 9:30 PM. This story marks the first time that Kyoka Izumi, the editor and trusted partner of popular manga artist Rohan Kishibe in the "Thus Spoke Rohan Kishibe Kishibe" series, takes center stage. Written with the cooperation of the original author Hirohiko Araki, and directed by Tomotaro Seki and Kentaro Hirase of the directing group "May," this is the series' first original story.
The drama "Thus Spoke Rohan Kishibe" is a live-action adaptation of the popular manga series "JoJo's Bizarre Adventure" by Hirohiko Araki, featuring Thus Spoke Rohan Kishibe Kishibe as the main character. It's a suspenseful horror story about Rohan Kishibe, a manga artist with the ability to turn people into books and "read" them, as he and his female editor, Kyoka Izumi, confront bizarre incidents and inexplicable phenomena. It aired from 2020 and was also made into a movie.
In "Izumi Kyoka Won't Be Silent," Marie Iitoyo will continue to play Izumi Kyoka, and Issei Takahashi will also appear as Kishibe Rohan. New cast members include Mayu Hotta, Kanichiro, and Jun Hashimoto.
Editor Kyoka Izumi is having a meeting with Rohan Kishibe at a cafe when she proudly tells him that her new manga artist, Mika Nishion, has had a million-copy hit. However, Rohan criticizes her, saying "something's not right," and leaves the room. In reality, she has only ever met Mika through her brother, Soushi, and has no idea how she draws her manga. Driven by anxiety, she goes to the Nishion residence, but when Mika appears, she doesn't respond to her attempts to talk to her; for some reason, only her brother answers...
