The fourth episode of the TV Asahi drama series "Reborn ~The Last Hero~" (Tuesdays at 9 PM), starring actor Issei Takahashi, will air on May 5th.
Mitsunori Neo (Takahashi) is reincarnated as Hideto Nomoto and, using his "14 years' worth of memories," he revitalizes Akari Shopping Street and even succeeds in guiding Sarasa (Nakamura Anne) towards becoming a painter. However, he faces a new and unexpected situation. Prompted by a comment made by Hideto, the Mitsunori living in this era ends up going on a business trip to Paris, a trip that the previous Mitsunori should never have taken, along with Tomono (Ouji Suzuka) and Hideto's sister, Eri (Yokota Mayu).
The day of the business trip was the same day the coordinated terrorist attacks occurred in Paris. If things continued as they were, Kosei and his friends could be caught up in the attacks. Had his own words and actions changed Kosei's history? Hideto was shaken, but with the help of Togo (Masachika Ichimura), he managed to cancel the Paris trip. As a result, the semiconductor business that NEOXIS had been targeting began to show signs of improvement.
Just as Hideto breathes a sigh of relief, a new problem arises. Akari Shopping Street and NEOXIS are sued for patent infringement by Soman's president, Ichimanda (played by Yoshiyuki Tsubokura), over a business of "global warming countermeasures" that Hideto had started. In reality, this was a scheme by Ichimanda, who was competing with NEOXIS in the semiconductor business, to bring down NEOXIS. Faced with this unexpected crisis, Hideto and the Akari Shopping Street, along with NEOXIS, decide to cooperate to fight Ichimanda.
Through this semiconductor business, the two versions of Mitsumasa Neo—Mitsumasa living in England and Mitsumasa living in the Heisei era—will grow closer...?
The drama tells the story of a man who is reborn as a different person and given a second chance at life. The script is written by Hiroshi Hashimoto, who has also written dramas such as "The Grand Family" (TBS), "Job Hunting Family: It'll Surely Work Out," "Adult High School," and "Sky Castle" (all on TV Asahi).
