The first episode of the drama series "Galaxy Vote" (Kansai TV/Fuji TV, Mondays at 10 PM), starring actress Haru Kuroki, aired on April 20th. Kuroki's character, Mari Hoshino, made a strong impression on viewers with her line, "It's easy, isn't it, dealing with the people."

The drama is an "election entertainment" story in which Mari Hoshino recruits snack bar owner Akari Tsukioka (played by Kayoko Noro) as her campaign strategist and takes on the Tokyo gubernatorial election.
Mari, who works as a secretary to her father, Takaomi Hoshino (played by Yajuro Bando), the secretary-general of the Minseito party, was resting on a bench near the National Diet Building. Suddenly, her childhood friend, Ryusei Hiyama (Kohei Matsushita), a young member of the Minseito party, came along.
"It was you, Mari, who got the Secretary-General to mention the 'Tokai Heavy Rain' at today's press conference, right? It's working," Ryusei said, showing Mari a social media screen overflowing with comments praising the Secretary-General.
This day marked one year since the Tokai heavy rain disaster. Mari, who had advised Takaomi to mention it at the press conference, blurted out, "It's easy, isn't it? The people."
On social media, comments included: "'The line, "People are so easy to deal with," really hit home," "Galaxy's vote, it made my heart tremble... Maybe they really do think people are easy to manipulate," "In these times, it really stings. I guess they really do think people are easy to deal with," "'People are so easy to deal with' keeps echoing in my mind," and "'People are so easy to deal with' has stuck with me. It had more impact than being called stupid."
