Actress Mei Hata. She revealed an "unexpected side" of Shida.
Although they have appeared together on the radio in the past, this is their first time working together on a drama. When asked about their impressions of each other, Hata smiled and said, "Shida-san is incredibly focused. But she also talks in a friendly way, and when she talks about her 'favorite' things, you can see a very friendly and innocent side of her, which is a new side of her that I discovered this time!"
It is said that Shida's "favorite" is the popular idol group "FRUITS ZIPPER," and one witness testified, "She's a huge fan, and when she talks about FRUITS ZIPPER, her excitement level goes through the roof, which is really cute!"
Shida laughed and admitted, "Mei-chan is a great listener, and she always says things like, 'That's great! That's fantastic! That's so cute!' about everything, so it makes me want to talk to her (laughs). She treats everyone equally, so it's fun to be on set," she said gratefully.
The drama is a human suspense story about Yume Nakata (Hata), who caused the death of a certain woman, and Mio Osako (Shida), the only daughter of the deceased woman, who develop a friendship without knowing the truth, and are eventually torn between guilt and friendship. The original script was written by Sakiko Yashiro and selected for the "WDR Project," a script development team established by NHK.
Popular group "WEST." members Ryusei Fujii, Ikue Sakakibara, Yoshinori Okada, and Chiaki Kuriyama also appeared at the press conference.
