The variety show "Kaiun! Nandemo Kanteidan" (TV Tokyo, Tuesdays at 8:54 PM), hosted by talent Koji Imada, freelance announcer Akira Fukuzawa, and former Sakurazaka46 member Yuka Sugai, will feature a "tiny vase measuring only 20 centimeters" as its "treasure" on April 7th.
The treasure was a vase that the client's father, an antique enthusiast, cherished most. Before the war, his father, who worked in Tokyo, returned to Fukushima with a large collection of antiques after the Tokyo air raids. He often boasted about this vase, and after his death, the client inherited and displayed it.
On the day of the 2011 earthquake, the author was at his daughter's house inland and thus survived, but upon returning home, he found that everything except the framework of his house had been swept away. As he stood there in stunned silence, his eyes fell upon this vase. It remained intact, unbroken, a true miracle! What was the outcome...?
According to the program preview, it turns out that this vase was a masterpiece from the Muromachi period, and Imada looked surprised by the appraisal result, which was met with applause from the studio audience.
