The 25th and final episode of the third season of the TV anime "Fire Force," titled "Fire Force Season 3," based on the manga by Atsushi Ohkubo serialized in "Weekly Shonen Magazine" (Kodansha), aired on April 3rd in the late-night anime block "Animeism" on MBS, TBS, and other networks, bringing the TV anime series to a close after approximately seven years since the first season began airing in 2019.
A commemorative visual for the final episode, depicting Shinra smiling and saluting, and a special opening video for the final episode have been released on the YouTube channel.
"Fire Force" is a manga series that ran in "Weekly Shonen Magazine" from 2015 to 2022. It depicts the exploits of a special fire brigade as they confront the terror and mystery of spontaneous human combustion, a phenomenon in which people suddenly burst into flames and become fiery monsters. The series has sold over 20 million copies worldwide.
The first season of the TV anime aired from July to December 2019, the second season from July to December 2020, and the first cour of the third season from April to June. The second cour of the third season began airing in January.
