Lotte's new chocolate snack, "Bikkuriman," called "Ukiyo- Bikkuriman Chocolate," will be released in western Japan on April 21st. For the first time in the Bikkuriman series, the characters are set in the Edo period, and the chocolates will include stickers depicting a "devil vs. angel" world in the style of ukiyo-e woodblock prints.
The lineup includes 41 different stickers, such as one featuring "The Great Wave off Kanagawa," one of the "Thirty-Six Views of Mount Fuji," as the background; a Super Zeus based on Toshusai Sharaku's "Otani Oniji III as Edohei"; and a Cross Angel based on Kitagawa Utamaro's "Ten Types of Women's Physiognomy: Girl Playing a Poppin'."
The expected retail price is around 140 yen.
