The second promotional video for the third season was unveiled, revealing that the third season will depict the "Eris Training Arc." The first season ended with the parting of Ellis and Rudeus Greyrat. In the third season, Ellis will reappear, and Kakuma revealed her feelings, saying, "It made my heart swell..."
The event also featured Yumi Yumi Uchiyama , who plays Rudeus Greyrat, Konomi Kohara, who plays Roxy Migurdia, and Ai Kayano, who plays Sylphiette Greyrat (Sylphy). Regarding the recording of the third season, Uchiyama said, "I think the five years we've built up are reflected in the atmosphere."
"Mushoku Tensei" is a light novel by Rifujin na Magote, which began serialization on "Shosetsuka ni Naro" in 2012. The story follows a 34-year-old unemployed man who dies but is reborn in a fantasy world of swords and magic, where he uses his intelligence and regrets from his previous life to start a new life. It is a popular work considered a pioneer of "Narou-kei" light novels, and has been published in book form by MF Books (KADOKAWA), with a manga adaptation also being produced. The series has sold over 18 million copies in total.
The first season of the TV anime aired from January to March 2021 (first cour) and from October to December of the same year (second cour), and the high-quality animation produced by Studio Bind, an animation production company established specifically for the series, also garnered attention. The first cour of the second season aired from July to September 2023, and the second cour aired from April to June 2024. The third season will begin airing on July 5th, every Sunday on TOKYO MX, BS11, and other channels.
