A brand new TV anime series, "Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha EXCEEDS Gun Blaze Vengeance," based on the popular "Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha Nanoha" anime series, will begin airing on TOKYO MX and BS11 at 1 AM on July 4th. The first episode will be a 60-minute special. The first promotional video, featuring the ending theme "Ephemeral" sung by Haruna Aoki, has also been released.
"Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha" is a popular series that has been developed into anime, games, novels, and manga. The first TV anime series aired from October to December 2004. The second series, "Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha A's," aired from October to December 2005, the third series, "Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha StrikerS," aired from April to September 2007, and the fourth series, "Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha ViVid," aired from April to June 2015.
The new film will be written and based on an original story by Maki Tsuzuki, who also worked on the previous series, and directed by Takayuki Hamana. It will be produced by Seven Arcs.
