The final episode of "TRIGUN STARGAZE," the final chapter of the new anime series "TRIGUN," based on Yasuhiro Nightow's manga "Trigun," aired on TV Tokyo on March 28th. To commemorate the conclusion of the epic battle between Vash and Knives that engulfed their planet, a new visual drawn by character designer Kiyotaka Oshiyama was released.
Some of the illustrations to be included in the Blu-ray disc box set, which will be released on June 17th, have also been revealed. The original author, Naito, drew the illustrations himself.
To commemorate the series' conclusion, a retrospective talk event will be held on May 31st at Shinjuku Loft Plus One (Shinjuku Ward, Tokyo). The event will be held in two parts, a daytime session featuring the original author, Naito, and the staff from Orange, the animation studio, while the evening session will feature Naito, producers from Orange, and Toho.
"Trigun" is a gun action manga by Naito, also known for "Blood Blockade Battlefront," depicting the extraordinary fate of Vash the Stampede, a legendary gunman with a bounty on his head who is also a pacifist, in a harsh world. The TV anime aired in 1998, and the animated film "Trigun: Badlands Rumble" was released in 2010.
The new anime series "TRIGUN STAMPEDE" will air on TV Tokyo and other networks from January to March 2023, while "TRIGUN STARGAZE" began airing on the TV Tokyo network in January.
