Hiroshi Fujioka who played Kamen Rider 1/Hongo Takeshi in the special effects drama "Kamen Rider," and his second daughter, Tensho Amane, attended the preview screening of the short film "HENSHIN THE FIRST," held at Toei's headquarters (Chuo-ku, Tokyo) on March 2nd. The father and daughter showed off their "transformation" poses into Kamen Rider.
"HENSHIN THE FIRST" was produced as part of a joint project between Kamen Rider, makeup brand "KATE," and fashion and beauty media "WWD JAPAN" aiming to create a new culture, and was released on YouTube on March 2nd. Tensho plays the lead role. The original story is a unique interpretation of Kamen Rider Ainz/Mikazuki Nayuta, the role played by Tensho in "Kamen Rider Ainz with Girls Remix" (2026).
Tensho commented with delight, "I thought it was an even more dense and artistic story than the main story of 'Ainz.' I was excited to see how it would turn out," and appealed, "I hope you'll pay attention to how Nayuta changes dramatically, both inside and out, and how she transforms powerfully at the end."
Fujioka greeted the audience by saying, "My daughter is taking a historic step towards the world, so I came here to support her as the first Kamen Rider." When asked about his impressions of the film, he said, "She is a hard worker, and that was very evident."
KATE brand manager Iwata Arihiro said that this is not a one-off project and will continue into the future, and explained the reason for the collaboration with Kamen Rider Ainz, saying, "Mikazuki Nayuta is a being who possesses both strength and transparency. We saw her as a being who could symbolize the transformation that KATE values."
Towards the end of the event, the MC requested that Fujioka and Tensho perform a transformation pose together. Fujioka treasures his feelings as Kamen Rider No. 1, so he doesn't usually perform a "transformation" pose at events, but after careful consideration, he readily agreed, saying, "Today may be my daughter's historic first step, so I'll transform together with her as Takeshi Hongo." When the two performed the "transformation" pose in unison, he smiled and said, "It gave me a good memory." Tensho also expressed his delight, saying, "Being able to transform together with my father was a moment I'll never forget."
