Shigeru Joshima will appear on Nippon Television's variety show "The! Iron Man! DASH!!," which will be broadcast from 7:00 PM on February 22nd. On the same day, Takahisa Masuda of the popular group "NEWS" will take part for the first time in a winter special in which ski resorts are promoted using giant snowballs. A total of 12 people, including Joshima and So Matsushima of the popular group "timelesz," will "fight" against the giant snowballs. When a desperate situation arises, Joshima, who is 56 years old this year, will enthusiastically encourage the others, saying, "Don't let your heart slow down!"
The setting for this eighth installment is Mt. Norikura Snow Resort, located at an altitude of 2,000 meters on the Norikura Plateau, on the border between Nagano and Gifu prefectures. Over 500,000 skiers once flocked to the resort in search of the soft snow known as "Norikura Powder," but the number has now dropped to less than one-tenth of that. In order to liven up the ski resort, which is in such a critical situation, they are doing their best to promote the local area with giant snowballs.
Furthermore, in response to Joshima and Matsushima's call to "Today's project requires the power of young people," new members gathered, including Masuda, Yoshizawa Shizuya from "Travis Japan," and Sasaki Taiko, Nakamura Reia, and Inoue Mizuki from "KEY TO LIT."
The new members are terrified when Matsushima, who has experience with snowballs, threatens them by saying, "This location shoot is the most dangerous in DASH history."
The goal is to make a snowball bigger than the previous one, 2.2 meters in diameter. First, Nakamura makes a palm-sized snowball, which he names "Norio" after Norikura Highlands. "Norio," measuring 10 centimeters in diameter, rolls vigorously down the slope toward the goal three kilometers away, growing larger and larger until it sinks into the snow and becomes unable to move... In this desperate situation, muscle comedian Tomoharu Shoji, Kinniku-kun Nakayama, and sumo wrestlers Wakamotoharu, Ooyoyama, and Araatsuyama from the Arashio stable join the fight to help.
